This program is intended to give plumbing engineers and design professionals the functional and technical information to consider pipe lining technology for plumbing infrastructure projects.

Content Outline:
• CIPP Overview – 5 minutes
• Lining Sequence – 15 minutes
• Types of Resins – 5 minutes
• Practical applications – 15 minutes
• Case studies – 10 minutes

Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the course learner will be able to:
• Have a basic understanding of CIPP, its process and practical applications
• Describe the different CIPP methods and when to use what type
• Identify the types of systems CIPP can be used on
• Have a basic understanding of CIPP ASTM F 1216 conformance
• Understand the value of CIPP vs traditional pipe replacement.

Instructor: John Billone, Nu Flow Services
John grew up in the family plumbing business, Billone Mechanical Contractors, which his father started in 1972. After graduating college with both a business and engineering degree, John went into his father’s plumbing business and in 1989 acquired his master plumbing license from the City of Rochester.
In 1991 John and his brother Tom started the Mr. Rooter Pluming business in Rochester and Buffalo and in 2001 sold it to John’s Brother-in-Law Maurice Aubry, John’s partner in Nu-Flow Services.


Upon selling the Mr. Rooter Plumbing business, John started Flower City Development. Focusing on historical renovations, one notable project, the Medical Arts Building which was the City of Rochester’s first LEED Certified development in 2006. John and Moe start Nu Flow Services of Upstate NY LLC in 2015.

This course awards 1.0 PDHs / 0.1 CEUs. It is not being recorded. Attendees must complete a program evaluation and quiz in order to receive the certificate.
