Hot Water System Design for Code Compliance

This program will cover the design of domestic hot water systems specifically related to new code requirements relating to usage, temperature, and recirculation requirements. Additionally, the session will cover other requirements related to designing systems for the mitigation of bacteria growth in the system.

 

Joe Scott is a Senior Vice President and Senior Plumbing Designer for Cannon Design in their St. Louis office. Joe has been involved in the design and specification of plumbing systems for the past 37 years, with an emphasis on healthcare, criminal justice, and laboratory building types. He has served on numerous ASPE committees and was the Task Force Chairman for the design portion of the Domestic Water Heating Design Manual. Joe is also an ASPE Past President.
