Plumbing Systems for Laboratories

During this session, you will learn about the various types of laboratories that exist in research. It will touch on chemistry, cleanroom, vivarium, containment, and other unique lab types. Each lab type has its own unique criteria that impact pipe systems, materials, and design. This session will go over various water, waste, and gas systems you may only encounter in laboratory design. It will also touch on the different standards like BMBL, AALAS, and other governing bodies that oversee and certify certain aspects of laboratory use and their design.
