Med Gas Basics Design: Medical Gas Manifolds & Specialty Air Compressors will describe the design of manifolds as well as the air compressors involved in the medical gas system.

Josh Pedraja
Josh Pedraja has 18 years of experience in the Medical Gas industry serving various roles such as Service Coordinator, Inside and Outside Sales, and Customer Support. He also has a background in industrial vacuum applications. Josh holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL with an emphasis in music and education. Josh’s education background is utilized often while consulting with engineering firms as a Medical Gas Consultant and teaching as an ASPE educator. Josh works with engineering firms, contractors, medical and lab facilities, distributors, and service partners throughout the Central U.S. He is the National Account Manager for a major health network and works very closely with each of their health facilities nationwide.
Some of Josh’s recent accomplishments include becoming certified in Medical Gas Design and being the first to be credentialed through NITC for the ASSE 6060 certification. Josh also helped create medical vacuum and air systems sizing standards for a national health network and has worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on the designing and building of mobile hospital trailers to treat COVID hotpots and natural disaster relief efforts.
Josh is very active ASPE member; currently serving as the Region 2 Affiliate Liaison, the Eastern Michigan chapter Vice President of Membership and Committee Chairman for the EMC Golf Outings, serves on multiple committees including the national ASPE Affiliate Advisory Committee, national ASPE Membership Committee and the Central Ohio Chapter 2024 Convention & Expo Planning Committee in Columbus, Ohio. He is active with additional ASPE memberships for the Chicago, Cleveland, and Central Ohio Chapters. Josh and his family reside in northwest Ohio.
