Hanse Cromer

Steffens-Shultz, Inc.

Hanse Cromer has served Steffens-Shultz, Inc. for 34 years. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, complemented by multiple professional certifications from prominent boiler and pump manufacturers. Established in 1951, Steffens-Shultz, Inc. is recognized as an industry leader in hydronic heating and cooling systems, as well as steam technologies.

In his capacity as Vice President, Mr. Cromer provides executive oversight for the Training Center, Plan & Specification Department, Engineering Department, and Service Department. He also contributes to the advancement of the industry through his role as an Adjunct Professor at Columbus State Community College, where he instructs courses in Piping Systems, Principles of Refrigeration, and Load Calculations.

Mr. Cromer has been involved with ASPE since 1992, became a member of the Central Ohio ASPE Chapter in 2011, has served on the Central Ohio Chapter Golf Committee since 2014 and has served as the Chapter Treasurer since 2018.

Mr. Cromer is married and the father of five children and four grandchildren. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys golf, boating, waterfowl hunting, and traveling.
