Compressed air is often called the fourth utility because it is vital to industrial manufacturing processes. Although plants cannot function without it, compressed air is an inherently inefficient form of energy and causes poor air quality, greatly impacting the bottom line. This session will cover compressor types, proper equipment selection, systems layouts, compressed air treatment, and energy efficiency.
