This webinar will look at the different methods of sizing natural gas systems that are available to plumbing engineers and designers. The webinar is designed to help participants understand the sizing methods by using examples of various pressure ranges. Topics that will be discussed are as follows:
- Natural gas system pressure within buildings: 0.5 psig or less
- Natural gas system pressures within buildings: Two pressure ranges. Primary pressure is not more than 2 psig and is reduced to a secondary pressure of more than 0.5 psig.
- Natural gas system pressures within buildings: Three pressure ranges. Primary pressure is more than 2 psig but not more than 5 psig, and is reduced to secondary pressures of more than 0.5 psig but not more than 2 psig, and is reduced again to pressures of 0.5 psig or less.
