Learning objective: Understanding the revisions for protection of storage for factory mutual 8.9 as related to: new design criteria, design shape factors, changes to aisle widths, new vertical distance of sprinkler head from the ceiling to center of link. How the changes impact all ESFR sprinklers (K 14, 16.8, 22.4, 25.2, 28 and 33) relative to required water demand for design area in sample situations.
